Hello again,

 

I know you are all very busy this time of year.  Talking with a few of your in the offseason, we had agreed to set a separate Little League parade for the Challenger players.  That date is coming up this Sunday, July 2nd.  We will have just about 150 or so people, not a big parade – but much easier for them to all get in and not feel pressured with a larger crowd.  I would need maybe 10-15 volunteers for this weekend, if possible.

 

Totally understand if you can’t make it work with how busy tournaments are right now.  I can pull some people internally and make it work.

 

Remember - Due to a request from Ownership to keep our normal entrance only for ADA needs, we will be meeting on the Terrace Club Skybridge.  That is the 5th floor of the parking garage.  Let security know you are volunteering for the parade, they will know to let you in and I’ll be waiting at the end of the bridge with your wristband and lanyard we used last year.  From there we will chat quickly and walk down the ramp and get on field.

Here is the timeline for Sunday, July 2nd:

 

10:30am: arrive at the Terrace Club Skybridge gate where tickets and wristbands (which allows you field access) will be distributed

10:40am: enter the ballpark and we will address the parade volunteer group

10:50am:  proceed to the tunnel

10:55am: prepare to line the field for the parade

11:10am: gates open, parade begins immediately (subject to earlier opening)

 

Please impress upon your folks to be on time. Once we have proceeded down the ramp to the tunnel there is no longer a way to get a latecomer their tickets to get in the ballpark until after the parade has been completed. And you would need to make the arrangements to get them the ticket.

 

Please let me know if you have any questions. A reminder no one under the age of 14 will be able to be a parade volunteer on field.  We will need people to really be on it for these next 2 parades.
