All,
District and State tournaments are almost upon us.
Our District Tournament is approaching fast, and will be here the latter part of June. We need to know within the next 4-5 days who is sending what team to Districts so we can order the appropriate banners, awards, and prep for fields and staffing. Please let me know as soon as possible what teams you think you will be sending to Districts. If we need to make a combined team, then please let me know by the 20th of May.
Also, the State schedule has been changed (again), and they are publishing periodic updates here: https://www.littleleaguewa.org/state-tournaments/2026-state-tournament-dates-locations/
Tournaments HAVE BEEN MOVED – some are closer to the beginning of July than previously scheduled. Please review ALL the info for State so you can alert your parents.
I am also publishing the attached document so you can begin preparing your coaches and managers for what it is like playing at Districts. (and if there is an error in the attached docs, we will amend, but this is the same one from last year… not a lot of rule changes in it).
In preparing for Districts and International tournament play, Sports Connect has done most of the work for you. All I need to see is the Original Birth Certificate and the driver’s license of the person who is filling out the player affidavit (parent or guardian that can legally place the kid on a team)…
