If you are receiving this message again, it's because I have not heard from your district.  As all districts are participating in this tournament, we would like to have umpires from each support this tournament.

District 8 will be hosting the State 9-11 Baseball tournament this year. We would like to invite each of you to send a crew to work a game or two.

The tournament will be at Northshore Athletic Fields in Woodinville (wine district). The tournament runs 7/24 - 7/31 (8/1, if) with 4 games each day, Saturday through Tuesday.

Please let me know if you will be sending a crew, how many, and when you would like to work. Our goal is at least 4 umpires on each game.  So if you won’t be sending 4 umpires, we will fill in with some local umpires.  I will prioritize assignments based on when I get your reply, with those traveling the furthest getting highest priority.

The on-field tournament UiC will be rotated between myself and other D8 umpire consultants - David Lee, Jack Jones and Tom Peckham.
