Dear League and District Officers: Leagues can now submit their ASAP Safety Plans for the 2020 season through the Little League Data Center (LittleLeague.org/DataCenter). A few features have been added to the Little League Data Center to improve the submission process: • League and district officers can download safety plans from previous seasons in the Reports section. Reports from 2018 and 2019 can be found under Historical Safety Plans. This feature will be available throughout the year. • Leagues can access their current year safety plan after it has been submitted and approved for viewing and printing purposes. • Leagues can manage and update the Facility Survey throughout the season. While it is still an ASAP requirement, you can access the Facility Survey separately from the safety plan submission process. We understand that leagues often need to add fields or make changes to the information they submitted. • The new survey question for 2020 asks about the Abuse Awareness Training offered by USA Baseball and SafeSport. Please answer these questions as accurately as possible. • As a reminder, leagues who utilize Sports Connect (formerly Blue Sombrero) for their online registration, that information will be automatically sent to Little League International, helping to fulfill Regulation IV (g) and ASAP Requirement 14. ASAP Participation Incentive: If each of a district’s local leagues have ASAP plans submitted and approved by Friday, April 3, 2020, the district will earn an ASAP participation incentive cash award. Districts with 80-89 percent participation will collect $300, and those with 90-100 percent participation will earn $600. For a local league to receive its ASAP participation insurance credit and be in consideration for the national awards program presented by Musco, its plan must be submitted by Friday, April 17, 2020.
