Please keep in mind the LL World Series is going on now. This is a great way to build excitement for next year’s registration! Let your teams know !! the play has been GREAT!

 

Also, lets have a DISTRICT WIDE MEETING in late October (I am thinking the 30th ) for ALL Presidents or their proxies. I will buy lunch – this is a Saturday in October… the new boards should be in place… We will have lunch catered in. I am thinking we will hold it in Spokane at the Davenport or some hotel with a meeting room.  Most likely from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. ALL LEAGUES should be represented. Other Board members are welcome to attend, I just need a head count to make sure we have enough food and drink. We will talk about the following:

 

  1. Improving Registration numbers, techniques for getting more kids to sign up
  2. Funding opportunities
  3. State Tournaments
  4. District Tournament assignment
  5. Rule changes
  6. Building volunteers
  7. How to get umpires, ways to improve umpire skills, umpire work shops
  8. New fields, divisions, softball
  9. Setting up the District administration staff
  10. Questions you may have or need clarifications on

 

Please let me know if this date works for everyone…. I’d like to get it out of the way sooner rather than later.
