All,

There is a state umpires meeting being held at T-Mobile Park – see dates below. Typically this would be the Umpire-in-Chief for the Districts, but since we don’t have those, I’d like to open it up to 2 individuals from each District that are Umpires-in-Chief for their Leagues. These two individuals would become the Umpire-in-Chief for the District, AND their backup or assistant.

If you would like to attend, let me know. The details are below. If we get more than 2 that would like to attend, I will talk with whomever wants to go and discuss duties, roles, etc for being a District ADA/Chief-Umpire and see who fits best.

This is a good way to get connected to better umpiring for your District and League, AND to learn tips and tricks for getting more involvement in the umpire staffing for your leagues.

Let me know ASAP so I can make appropriate arrangements if you are interested in going…

Subject: 2021 State umpire meeting

Good evening,

We now have a location and time for our annual umpire meeting. In times of Covid, this has been a tricky task for Mike Ray.

This year we will be meeting on Saturday, October 2nd at T-Mobile Park. The meeting will start at 8:30am and conclude at lunchtime.  You are welcome and encouraged to stay and eat.  Please send me any agenda items you would like to discuss.

In order to attend, I need the names of attendees (first and last) that you will be bringing,  no later than Sunday, September 26th, at 5:00pm. Please include yourself in this list.  Only those names submitted to me by Sunday, September 26th will be allowed to be admitted.  This is a request from the Mariners for security reasons.  Let me know if you should have any questions.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again,
