I am pleased to announce the District 13 Brackets. You all have done great this year in getting more teams to the tournament than District 13 has seen in a while. There are several goals with the District Tournament:

To reward players that have excelled during the year
To start the road to Williamsport and the Little League World Series
To promote YOUR league to next year’s players and parents
To show the parents the quality of your programs/leagues

I’d like to ask that during each game there is at least 1 representative from boards of the Leagues that are playing to be present for the game. The president preferably, but any Board member that can represent the League is requested. Please read all of the notes in the attached docs.

There is an error on the 8-10 bracket… it has to do with the field assignments… it’s not a serious error and it’s explained in the attached notes. (It has to do with which field is assigned to which division.. the notes are correct, the bracket is not).

There is a Google Earth Image showing the location of the fields in Liberty Lake. There are plenty of warm up areas just to the west of the fields on the same complex. We will discuss that in the Manager’s meeting.

Steve Raab will be the Tournament Director. You can direct questions to him or me. His contact info is in the notes document… AGAIN PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY!!! IT has lots of info!

On another note, West Plains Little League’s Salnave field got chosen for a “Field Makeover” by KXLY and they have already begun work on it (In fact the “reveal” is Thursday!) Congrats to Stacy and her league for getting this great update!
