This past weekend, we were fortunate to have Dennis Williams in Eastern Washington to lead an umpire clinic.  Dennis is the Washington State Umpire in Chief - and is an outstanding presenter.  We had 18 people attend the one day umpire training, and both districts were well represented.  

As many of you know, finding umpires at any level has been a challenge for the past couple of years - so it is encouraging to see so many people interested in becoming a Little League Umpire.  

Hopefully, the knowledge that was gained by those in attendance can be shared with other umpires or potential umpires in all of our leagues.  Little League programs thrive on consistency - and clinics like these definitely promote that!
