Hi District 13 board members,
We volunteered to host the district tournament this year without knowing it would be for all age groups. We have the fields and everything else figured out, but I really need your help with the umpiring side of things. Our umpire in Chief is on vacation
and we only have 2 other league umpires.
I'm asking that each league bring an umpiring crew (2 umps) each day to umpire 1 game. This will give us enough umpires that each game will have a crew from another league umpiring their game. That way we can blame it on bad calls and not biased
umpiring:-) We will only need 4 crews on day 1, but having a crew from each league available will spread the work and allow us to assign games the night before.
Can you please let me know if you'll be able to help out with this request? We simply don't have a lot of options.
Here's the number of crews we need by day
27th - 4
28th - 3
29th - 3
30th - 2
1st - 2 or 3
2nd - Could be 0 but as many as 2
