Hi All, Couple of schedule reminders: 1. Managers meeting set for 5:00PM at the Deer Park City Hall for ALL managers of all teams in the tournament to attend. If the MANAGER cannot attend, then a coach who will be in the dugout for all games may attend in their place. ANY team not having a manager or coach at the meeting forfeits their coin-toss rights for the tournament. This meeting is important for smooth play during the tournament and sets the tournament to be equitable for everyone. 2. There were a couple teams whose books were not complete or ineligible. I will be there in Deer Park early to review the books and sign off on the corrections. I’m hoping to arrive around 4:00PM if the room is available. If not I’ll review in the hallway 😊 . 3. This is the second year under the new bat guidelines for umpires/managers. PLEASE BE AWARE OF ALL OF THE RULES FOR BATS, TAPE, SIZES etc. Failure to comply with the bat standards, according to the Little League rules can mean disqualification for team… 4. I have all the medals/rings/etc and all the pins we need. However, Little League is running behind on the banners. I am hoping they will be here by Monday. If not I will make sure your banners get to you before you all head to state. 5. The President’s meeting is immediately after the Manager’s meeting. It will be brief but necessary.
