All, Tonight we have our manager's meeting for District Tournament. It will be held at the Liberty Lake Portal in Liberty Lake at 6:00 PM. The meeting will take about an hour. It will be held in a meeting room which is upstairs on the second floor near the main entrance. This is a required meeting for all teams participating in the tournament. Manager's or a coach that is on the tournament affidavit and will be in the dugout during the games must attend. Any team not having representation at this meeting will lose it's options at the coin toss before each game. This coin toss will determine who is home or away and which dugout you may select. You may send more than one representative per team if you wish. Follow that meeting will be a president's meeting which will be held in the same location at about 7:00 PM. This is one of 5 mandatory meetings required by Little League via the DA staff. All presidents must attend. If they cannot, they will be required to send a proxy from their board which can carry the vote of the president. Finally all books that had errors in them must be turned in NLT tonight. I will be doing the first couple days of the tournament without Stacy as she is attending to her son's wedding. (Congrats Stacy, next step - grandma!). So all books must be turned in tonight. Finally all assessments and tournament fees must be paid prior to the start of the tournament. See you all tonight! It's an exciting time of year... this is when the leagues get to show their stuff!
