Greetings All, Updates: TV Shutdown on-Schedule Upgrade updates Fiber Rollout - Grantham Phone Service Moving - Temporary Interruptions and Backup number Home and Garden Show Report TV Shutdown on-Schedule Our RodeoTV service will be terminating on schedule March 31, 2024. This is our third notice about that. Final bills for TV will be sent out on the 1st of April. We appreciate all our TV customers, but unfortunately the cost of acquisition, delivery and support for the TV system has gotten out of hand. We were seeing pricing for channels go up in some cases 30-40%! We strongly recommend FuboTV if you want a good replacement option in terms of cost. It's still going to be $90-100 for most folks but it does have the locals and it's got a lot of sports. Upgrade updates We are still awaiting some logistical issues to work themselves out then we will implement our next round of system upgrades. We have been on hold about 3 weeks as we wait for some new equipment for the network. It should be arriving early next week with an installation date a day or two after. This final piece is some amazing technology that will provide us with way more capacity than ever before. It also will help us manage the network better. During these upgrade cycles you can expect small, brief outages either in some, none or all of the network. They should usually be less than 20-30 mins and will occur next week some time. A few hours before we work on the networks, we'll post notices here and let everyone know we are being busy beavers and building stuff. our plan is not to be too intrusive and do most of the work late at night this go around.like between midnight and 2AM. Fiber Rollout - Grantham We are on track for our Fiber Rollout in the Grantham area beginning sometime around April 15. They are still testing circuits, but we are all primed and ready to go and it seems like we have a TON of new customers to put on Fiber. IF you know someone in the Grantham area and they would like FIBER OPTIC SPEED to the home, refer them to us. You'll get a discount on your next month of internet and they will get a discount on their first month too! It's a win-win-win! Phone Service Moving - Temporary Interruptions and Backup number We are moving phone services this week. We have a new VOIP system for our office we are implementing. Home and Garden Show Report We were at the Home and Garden show at the Nez Perce Fair Pavilion that was sponsored by KAT-FM. It was a great time and we got a chance to talk to more than 175 folks that stopped by the booth. We gave away a $25 gift card to Schurman's Hardware in Clarkston, and a brand new home router. Lots of folks came by and talked to us about their internet, and it was very interesting to hear their experiences with other providers.
