Thank you Steve. I didn't use a.i. I used the book and a general internet search. I couldn't get anything from the rules app (I haven't been able to make their search process work for me on many things. Their key words are a mystery to me). 

The book only says the juniors can only play three games in a day. Nothing that I could find about doubleheaders. The general internet search said two doubleheaders in a week (probably pulled from an old page). I will rely on what you found since you would be the junior softball expert in our state. I should have just sent you an email. Now if I can find another field, I can consider pool play. Of the two near each other I hoped to get a half hour apart, only one can do it.

I don't know if I can. The only way I have two fields in one town would be to have it in two different towns, about a half hour apart. Can you clarify for me the rules for juniors? It says any team can play up to three games in a day, but then says they can only play one doubleheader in seven days. I know these girls play three times a day for multiple days in travel ball. If I could stack games, I might be able to do pool play.

Bob in District 9 has the same problem with junior softball. He informed me this week that he is unable to host that tournament. 

I am proposing that District 3 take junior softball. I think I have someone in my district to take it. I am waiting for them to get approvals from the school districts,  but I have even held softball on Little League baseball fields with no mounds, so I know we can do that tournament. 

But I am declining senior baseball. I know it is late, but I just don't want to host it on a field that will have people complaining for years. We all seem to remember and often bring up the major softball tournament held on a substandard field in a district that now has a different district administrator (who has done a much better job on the two state tournaments she has hosted since then).

So I'm hoping someone will step up to take senior baseball if I do my part by taking junior softball.
