Softball Majors is the only level that didn’t get pushed back by a week.  There is a housing issue with the girls at the LLWS in North Carolina for them as they have to be done before college starts at East Carolina University—since they stay in the college dorms there.  So they didn’t get an extra week.

 

Our Softball Majors tournament (D8) will be completed by the end of this week (and so will Intermediate Baseball).

From District 3 - I start district tournaments today. I thought with the later regional and state tournaments this year, districts would delay tournaments by a week, so I am behind on the state packet, which I delegated to one of my staff who lives closer to the fields and can get better information. I didn't do a good job of communicating the deadline with her, so she was also thinking district tournaments would be later. I will probably get it late this afternoon, but I probably won't have time to look at it until during my lunch time tomorrow.
