Hi Glenn (and everyone), I have not reserved a meeting place yet, so no worries there. If there won’t be time for us to meet in California or if that weekend in mid-March is too early to accomplish what you had in mind for this meeting, I can still
reserve a place for us to meet here in Richland near the end of April. As long as I reserve the room by the middle of next month, I shouldn’t have a problem getting the place I’m thinking of…but they will make me pay for it in advance, which is why I wanted to sort this out ahead of time. 

For the time being, if I’m reading the replies correctly it sounds like our plan is to scratch meeting in Richland in April and to get together down in Cali?
