From chatting with a few of my fellow DA’s, we are all in the same boat that we have leagues that are incorrectly filling out Tournament Combination Requests, and the deadline is June 1. Such as listing only their All Star player counts
on the form instead of their Regular Season Player counts—as it says right in the section on the form.
When this happens, there is no way to edit. LL needs to fix this. BUT…
I have confirmed that there is a way short-circuit the rejection needed so that the leagues can create a new form without it having to wade all the way through the process, to the DA and to Regional. KIT confirmed it with me and that we
should be using this method!
IF a partner league has not completed their own section, but we already know the initial data from the previous leagues is incorrect and that the entire form will need to start again, just have the partner league reject it. It kills the
form right there and the HOST league can start the form again.
In addition, you don’t even have to have the partner league reject it. As DA, you can log in as them and go and reject it yourself!
Even with several emails and screenshots to my leagues in the past 10 days, I have had to reject multiple Tournament Combo forms so far because leagues are entering All Star player counts and not Regular Season player counts. If the form
is already on the DA to approve and reject, then unfortunately the DA has to reject it, and then ask Regional to Reject BEFORE the HOST league will even be allowed to create a new form and try again. But this sometimes takes time.
NOW, if you see its already wrong and in-process, since there is no way to edit it, get the partner league to reject it (or go do it yourself as DA) and then they can start again and shorten the process of getting it started again.
Just passing this along since we are all up to our eyeballs in Tournament Combo forms right now and the deadline looming in 3 days.
