We never seem to know how many girls age 15 & 16 will participate. So our leagues typically charter for the Senior division (which allows ages 12-16) and then they look at what they get for registration. They all play interleague during the regular season. When there are enough of the older girls to make some true Senior teams then they form the teams with a bias toward age and try to play in two different interleague “divisions”. If we do manage to get enough older girls I’m sure they would be anxious to play some teams from other districts. We just don’t know yet what we will have.
Regards,
Pat

Subject: [Wadas] 2021 Softball Senior Division Program.
Good Morning Fellow DAs,
I had a parent reach out to me saying that he has a Softball Seniors team ready to go for the 2021 Little League season. This surprised me as its been at least 10 years since District 8 had a Seniors team, and we’ve done very little to advertise the program.
Question – Are any of you aware of your leagues fielding a Seniors team this year? And if not, could you pass the word on? It would be absolutely great to kickstart this program again, and I’d be happy to organize it.
Thanks,
Scott Brohaugh
