As far as entering scores goes – after a long day of dealing with horrible parent behavior and watching parents literally make their kids cry, coming home and updating scores is absolutely the best part of my day!

Subject: Re: [Wadas] 9-11 BB Artificial Mound

I am fine with the artificial mound as well, and would also like to use this as a platform to go on record amongst my peers in the Washington DA Association and ask why are we still asking for permission to use artificial mounds at our state tournaments? Are we just being courteous? Because if that’s the case, great! But seriously, in 15 years I don’t ever recall anyone objecting to the use of a properly sized artificial mound—and they theoretically need to be approved by the charter committee beforehand anyway, and they out rank us!🤷🏼‍♀️ So seriously, does anyone actually give a rats ass if one or all of us need to use a portable mound at our tournaments? Because I know I certainly don’t!😂😂😂 Especially now that it appears they are obviously becoming the norm rather than the exception…I mean, serious honest question here, what would a tournament host actually do if by some weird happenstance somebody objected? Move their tournament site at the eleventh hour to someplace else??? I mean, come on you guys can we please just stop with this nonsensical formality? The only formality should be to inform the other DA’s that we are going to be using one…sort of like when I use my blinker driving in Seattle traffic…I’m not asking for permission to scoot over, I’m goin’!!😜

Anyway…just sharing my two cent thoughts at the start of what will be my 3rd 14 hour day in a row at Intermediate State! And btw don’t expect any update emails from me about that either—Rob is doing a fantastic job updating the scores for me every night!❤️❤️❤️

Love you all 😘✌🏼

WA State DA's,

To speed up the 9-11 Baseball State Tournament we will be using a 2nd field at Mukilteo LL.  The fiedl is a very well kept grass infield but does have an artificial mound.

The main field we are using does have a dirt/clay mound.

Please respond if you have any questions, approval or objections.

Thanks for your consideration.
