Hello Committee,

I am writing to update you with the sad news that Tom passed away peacefully and without pain at approximately 2:00 AM this morning. His wife Kammi, his daughter Rylynn, and Kammi’s father were all present with him.

There are currently no set plans for services, but Kammi is considering an online celebration to accommodate Tom's many friends and international colleagues.

As many of you know, before serving as the head announcer for the JLSWS in 1999, Tom spent many years as the head announcer for the LLSWS in Portland. For several years, he managed to serve in both roles when the schedules permitted.

As a career, Tom was an Everett School District educator, coach, and announcer. Tom and Kammi (mostly Kammi) also operated a Gelato/Cannoli/Espresso store in South Everett for many years. Joanne and I visited there many times and also appreciated the times Tom would bring gelato to a committee meeting or the World Series.

I will keep everyone updated as further plans develop.
