After discussion at the State Meeting I reached out to both JDP and Stack Sport.

 

While the "resource area" on Stack Sports still says the Quick App is available on JDP website IT HAS BEEN REMOVED AT LL REQUEST per an email from JDP support staff.

 

I called Stack Sports (after two emails failed to get a response).

 

Stack Sports advised in order to get  background checks, you will need to make a registration category for board members.

 

IF some of your board members will be Team Managers, Coaches or Team Volunteers they will need to sign up as Board members and  ALL other team position/s they will be applying for (sometimes in multiple divisions or programs).

 

However ONLY one background check will be done and the verification will track to ALL positions for 2026 (Spring, Fall and All stars) for which they apply.

 

For our league, since the we are opening Spring player/team staff signup on November 1, I added 2026 Board Member as a team staff position in the 2026 Baseball registration.

 

In our league, I am sending an email to ALL new Board members advising them to signup on NOV 1, as board members. Since its only 2 weeks out. 

 

They can also signup as Team Manager, Coach or Team Volunteer on NOV 1 or wait until  later if undecided about those roles. 

 

Apparently there is a way to do a "free standing" board member registration, which Stack Sports staff could probably walk you thru on their Support Line 866-258-3303.

 

IF leagues don't open signups until later, they may want to explore that option.
