Now for the fun stuff – Saturday night saw the Block Party in downtown Othellow. They had bands, dance troups, dunk tanks, splash-bounce houses, and belief it or not, a mechanical bull that the kids (yes players) got to try their hand at. There was a biergarten with cornhole and other games and the whole town was invited out to meet the Little Leaguers! (Jim Portugal, if you have a dropbox account I’ll upload a ton of pics for you regarding the party(ies) and tournament – we even have drone footage. And the local papers and press are here…
