This is such a shock. I just talked with him about 4 days before Christmas and he sounded good, but as we know things can sometimes happen so fast. He and his family were such kind, generous, dedicated amazing individuals. I am so appreciative
of what he did for Gary and myself over the past many years (for as long as the Mariners had the special friendships with so many in Little League throughout the State of Washington). What a guy and he will surely be missed with all my heart.

I have been given information that Bob Hellinger died over the weekend. Veteran D.A.s will remember we almost lost him about 7-10 years ago. He has been managing a chronic health
issue ever since. We don’t know cause of death at this time, other than it was from natural causes.
Bob was our longtime Mariners representative and to many of us a good friend away from the Mariners.
Bob Toigo is our point of contact with the Mariners and will let us know service arrangements as soon as they are available.
