It is my understanding that technically, the district boundaries are determined by the sum of the league boundaries attached to your district.

Historically the district boundaries were a bit more encompassing in our covetous view with the districts physically abutting each other. It was during the push to get league boundaries digitized that the concept of the district boundary changed.

The important point is to be sure that a league has a boundary that includes the families that they want to serve. There may be large gaps between league boundaries which are opportunities to adjust and bring in more players.
