We had an exciting day for the Double-Header State Championship for Junior Softball.
Saturday, July 12:
- D8 Shoreline beat D10 South Hill 11-9 to force a double-header “if necessary” game, and then…
- D8 Shoreline won the Junior Softball State Championship 10-0 over D10 South Hill, to move on to the West Regional in Tucson, AZ.
District 8 hopes everyone had a great experience at the Junior Softball State Tournament, and we wish our own District 8 Shoreline team the best of luck in Tucson.

- D8 Shoreline eliminated D7 West Seattle 16 to 7.
- Winners bracket game: D10 South Hill over D8 Shoreline 9-5.
- D10 South Hill moves to Saturday’s Championship game. D8 Shoreline moves to the Loser Bracket Semi-Final vs D7 West Seattle, which is on Friday July 11 at 6pm
Saturday’s Schedule, July 12:
- Junior Softball State Championship Day
- 12pm. D10 South Hill vs D8 Shoreline
- 3pm, if necessary. If D8 Shoreline wins at 12pm, then we will play a Double Header to determine the State Champion and who moves onto the Regional Tournament in Tucson, AZ.

Hello my fellow DA’s
I am uncertain if we are supposed to be communicating daily updates for each of our State Tournaments as they progress. It looks like some are via other emails, so I am going to follow suit here.
