Hi Cammie, 

D1 is good with this.  Having 2 fields, you might also look at doing pool play, we did this for the 11s SB last year and the teams and parents were very positive as they all played a minimum of 4 games and the tournament was over in 5 days.  Let me know if you need any help on how to do this.
