Don't care for 285' fences. But still want the girls to play.

Here's an option 2 D6 leagues use on artificial turf surfaces. No spikes, nails, posts or anything else needs to be "stuck" in the ground.

We have 2 leagues that use schedule 3/4" or 1" 80 pvc (NOT SCHEDULE 40 which is too flimsy) pipe, the white kind that is used in underground irrigation, to make 10' sections of portable fence covered with the plastic/pvc orange construction fence 4' tall. It has built-in feet to keep it vertical. Sandbags or similar weighted material are placed on the outside feet for additional stability.

These fences are portable yet stable and easily moved by a couple of people. Zip ties hold the orange fencing to the pvc frame. Everything can be purchased at a Home Depot/Lowes store.

Del would like an affirmation from districts participating that he can use some type of demarcate ion of the outfield “fence.”

At this time he doesn’t know if that will be a painted line at somewhere between 200 and 210 feet or if it will be cones/ribbons.

Please let us know your thoughts on this, or at least acknowledge this notice. It isn’t clear to me if regionals is asking for a vote or just affirmation that all have been informed. If everyone says no, I don’t know how the tournament can be held because there is no alternative site available.
