This is an answer to the discussion that took place on the West Advisory Committee Thursday evening. The discussion centered around the use of affidavits for teams only going to state. It excluded Little League Baseball and Softball since they will advance to Regional and World Series.

Greetings Advisory Committee,

Thank you for joining us at our meeting yesterday. As promised I wanted to send some clarification regarding the affidavit. Here you go!

If the State is participating in the international tournament -meaning enrolling in tournament and using the tournament protest line, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND everyone use the Affidavit and binder process in full (Residency docs, map, waivers, etc.…).

If the State opts to host Special Games in place of the international tournament, the affidavit is not required. Please note: a Special Games tournament will not have access to the tournament protest line.

Reminder: Major Divisions (baseball and softball) only. Tournament enrollment and affidavits are REQUIRED for participation in the international tournament.
