I don’t think we have a dog in this fight any longer, but it makes sense to me. We did the same thing for intermediate at the request of teams traveling long distances.
(Okay – Pullman led the requesters, but others were happy to go along)

All,
We are going make a suggestion to change the TIME of the game on Saturday for the Championship. Several of the parents and managers of teams have asked if we could move it up so they could return home earlier than 9PM on Saturday night… The game was originally scheduled for 6PM, all parties have agreed that 10AM would be more convenient for them.
I am OK with this, the umpires are OK with this and the field hosts are OK with this. Is everyone else OK with this? If not we can leave it where it is… at 6PM on Saturday… Originally we had scheduled it later so more people could attend from the local community, and so that kids could rest up from the game the night before. Some managers (losing managers) have commented that to lose a game at 8:30PM and have to return to play the next day at 9:00 AM has been… “difficult”… Apparently going home at decent hour trumps that thought, so 10AM is apparently “OK”.
Your thoughts all? OK to move it up?
