I got delayed in asking about a spring meeting date because Kit said HQ wanted to come do "trainings" of some sort in each state. I delayed so I could match up with the training date to avoid two trips. Kit told me today it appears that HQ has changed plans and will go in a different direction. So, I am thinking April 11 or 18 with the Mariners Little League game the following day. Does anyone have a preference? I think we will probably do it with a Zoom option, since Brian handled this well last time and volunteered to do it again. The Zoom isn't ideal since we don't always see your questions, but I just talked to someone who managed such a meeting by having the person on the Zoom send a text to a designated person to get attention when needed. If we are going to do a spring meeting (which almost everyone at congress seemed to want), I will need agenda items. Also, it is time to do the directory. Please get me your staff information.

If someone else could handle the Zoom questions and then verbally ask the for us all to hear, that would be fantastic. Also, anyone on the Zoom call can ask questions verbally since we could hear you all on the call back in the fall, and those on the call said they could hear us. My preference is April 11. I have a potential conflict on April 18. Do we need a meeting place with a Zoom option to call in? Also, the last time I spoke with Kit (this week), she said to keep her and Andrew in the loop if we get a date and they will try to join, at least via Zoom, since she had to back out from attending our fall meeting. --Brian (D8) From: Wadas <wadas-bounces@lists.rodeonetworks.com> On Behalf Of WA District 3 Little League via Wadas Sent: Friday, March 6, 2026 3:03 PM To: Washington DAs Discussion Forum <wadas@lists.rodeonetworks.com> Cc: WA District 3 Little League <wdist3ll@gmail.com> Subject: [Wadas] Spring Meeting I got delayed in asking about a spring meeting date because Kit said HQ wanted to come do "trainings" of some sort in each state. I have to zoom either way, but the 18th is preferable. On Fri, Mar 6, 2026 at 3:41 PM Brian Marantz via Wadas < wadas@lists.rodeonetworks.com> wrote:

I absolutely can’t do the 18th, zoom or in person because I’ll be on vacation celebrating John’s 60th birthday. The 11th would work well though, especially with the option of attending the Mariner’s game the following day! All, I am available either day, and at this time I do not have any agenda items to discuss. Before scheduling the meeting, it would be helpful to review the proposed agenda so we can determine whether a meeting is necessary and, if so, how much time we would need. If a meeting is needed, I strongly prefer that it be held via Zoom. An online meeting would be far more efficient in terms of time and cost, reduce travel, and ensure equal access for everyone—including the ability to view slides, use the chat, and see who is speaking if cameras are on. This is also a very busy time with many of our District meetings as the Little League season is just getting going and many leagues are returning from spring break. If we do need to meet, holding it online would make participation much more manageable for everyone involved. Additionally, many of us will be attending Mariners Little League Day the following day.
