Hi Managers! I wanted to provide you with some updates for the Tournament: • The Manager Meeting time will be on Saturday the 19th at 9:00 am at Bar-S Playfield. This will allow more time for questions. • Tournament documents will be turned in at this time and not returned until the documents have been verified. • Please come prepared to the meeting with team parent information for a Scorekeeper and an Announcer/Pitch Counter. Although we may have such volunteers signed up and ready for each game, a backup would be helpful, so we aren’t trying to do this last minute. • I have asked that the bracket from our State site list the fields as North and South as that is how they are labeled. Field one will be the South Field and field two will be the North Field. This will be the one printed at the field and updated following games. • I am working on getting some practice fields while you are in town, more information to follow at the Manager Meeting. • We are doing a 50/50 raffle for each game time. Winner to be drawn in the fourth inning. We will accept cash or venmo. District 7 proceeds will go to offset the cost of the medallions and pins for each player in the tournament. • We have a t-shirt vendor on site but you can also order online at https://d7-little-league.square.site/ . • Opening Ceremonies / Fish Stick Game: *Previously posted * Details are being worked on by the Host League President, but roughly: o Mel Olson Stadium in White Center, just a few minutes south of West Seattle o Friday 7/18 o Opening ceremony approx 5:45-6:15pm o Fishsticks game is 6:35, game lasts approx 2 hours o On-field activities for players before the game (players, bring your glove!), plus fun contests for kids between innings. They know how to put on a show! o Full food & beverage concessions, including a beer garden for 21+ attendees o Tickets would be approx. $10 for all kids and attendees. I am working on details with the team and will get a link for families to pre-purchase tickets. o As soon as I get the link for tickets I will send it out.
