I’m not sure how soccer is able to schedule tournaments even in Phase 2. This is worth looking into further with the State. Anybody have a contact at the State that can clarify this? Our source in the capitol is saying high school only and limited to 4 teams. This appears to be an illegal tournament. More information just received: The actual promotional material on their website says “if it is a go.” The tournament is not approved to be held at this point, but they want to get teams signed up in case restrictions are lifted. They downplayed the tentative nature of this tournament, but for now it is on the radar for state officials and cannot be held unless restrictions are considerably lifted.
