Since many of us will be building brackets over the next several weeks, I wanted let folks know that I've built an add-in for Excel to help build and format brackets that match LL double elimination brackets. If you want to use it, just click on Add Ins in Excel and then search for "Bracket Builder". Let me know if there's anything I can do to help out (using bracket builder or any other way I can help with your brackets). --rob (trying to be a helpful state website guy)
I’ve used it before and I remember Rob showing us at the fall 2023 State mtg. Thanks Rob! Since many of us will be building brackets over the next several weeks for district tournaments, I wanted let folks know that I've built an add-in for Excel to help build and format brackets that match LL double elimination brackets. These are the brackets I build every year for our state tournaments. If you want to use it, just click on Add Ins in Excel and then search for "Bracket Builder". There are more details here: BracketBuilder - LITTLE LEAGUE WASHINGTON DISTRICT 9<https://littleleaguewashd9.org/?page_id=5523> Let me know if there's anything I can do to help out (using bracket builder or any other way I can help with your brackets). (For the state tournaments, I'm happy to just build your brackets if you let me know the draw results and field information. Or we can just jump on a quick call - it only takes about 5 minutes to build the bracket) --rob (trying to be a helpful state website guy)

One thing to note – the brackets that this add-in builds match official Little League double-elimination brackets (game numbers match, winner and loser paths match, etc). However, this add-in does not preserve the top/bottom team in each game. It treats these two bracket pieces as the same. One has L11 in the first game slot and one has W12 in the first game slot. Some people use “whoever the team is in the first slot gets to call the coin flip”, so I figured I’d let you know about that difference. (Maybe someday I’ll have the bracket put a © next to the Little League top slot team 😊) [cid:image001.png@01DCF7F4.50D77290] And [cid:image002.png@01DCF7F4.50D77290] From: Rob Little Sent: Monday, June 8, 2026 1:58 PM To: Washington DAs Discussion Forum <wadas@lists.rodeonetworks.com> Subject: Building Tournament Brackets Since many of us will be building brackets over the next several weeks for district tournaments, I wanted let folks know that I’ve built an add-in for Excel to help build and format brackets that match LL double elimination brackets.
