All, See below. This is part of the Little League Partnership with the Mariners… If your league can organize a trip over to use the discount tickets offered to Little Leaguers. It’s a good program. Contact me if you don’t know how to utilize this partnership for the benefit of your leagues. JP DA Dist 13 Hi everyone, Now that we are in March, I wanted to reach out and check in for 2025. Our first Little League game of this season is March 30th against the A’s. This is the earliest date in Mariners Little League history and it will be very hard to beat. As of today, we are at about 1,700 tickets. That puts us on a pace over 3,000 tickets or so, which is typical for our 1st date. We will need some volunteers for that first parade, but I will send a different email next week more focused on that. I have some other things I want to share now. After a lot of meetings and conversations internally with a lot of different people on how we can find ways to continue to grow our outreach to Little League, I was able to get a few things through. Those are: * The $5,000 Art Mikelsen Grant has been approved this year and will be reinstated for all seasons moving forward. * Since this is late in the game this year, can you please each have 1 league send in a Grant proposal for us to go quickly review before we reward the grant. * New * Little League Game Changers * This is a new way for us to recognize the outstanding athletes, volunteers and supporters who go above and beyond to leave a lasting impact on their Little League community. Whether it’s a player demonstrating incredible sportsmanship or a volunteer dedicating countless hours to prep a field, we want to celebrate those who to the plate in extraordinary ways through our Little League Game Changers recognition program. At select Mariners home games, a member of a local Little League community will be recognized for their daily contributions. Each honoree will receive four (4) tickets and one (1) parking pass to the game. * We should have a link for people to apply for this recognition later this week. I will share that as soon as I have it. * Bob Hellinger Little League Volunteer of the Year * This will be awarded annually on our last Little League game of the year. I’ll be looking to you all for recommendations on who we should honor with this award prior to the Little League game on June 1st. I’ll be purchasing an award to be presented on-field prior to the game. Full transparency, I’ve been working on a couple of these things for roughly 2 years. I’m thrilled to be able to share this news with you! We moved to a new system, so please let me know if I’m missing anybody on this email. Have a great night! .[cid:image001.png@01DB8D14.D3494BA0] Marc Mahoney Director Suite, Group & Event Sales Seattle Mariners P: (206) 346-4523<tel:(206)%20346-4523> T-Mobile Park - 1250 1st Ave S Seattle, WA 98134 [cid:image002.png@01DB8D14.D3494BA0]<https://www.mlb.com/mariners>[cid:image003.png@01DB8D14.D3494BA0]<https://www.facebook.com/Mariners/>[cid:image004.png@01DB8D14.D3494BA0]<https://twitter.com/mariners>[cid:image005.png@01DB8D14.D3494BA0]<https://www.instagram.com/mariners/>[cid:image006.png@01DB8D14.D3494BA0]<https://www.youtube.com/mariners>[cid:image007.png@01DB8D14.D3494BA0]<https://www.tiktok.com/@mariners>
