Greetings All! In this update: District Meeting for District 13 - All Leagues to attend District tournament State 12/Majors tournament to be hosted by District 13 Using the Forum to get connected to other leagues District 13 Meeting JP here, the DA for Washington District 13. I am setting up a meeting for all Leagues for NEXT Wednesday Feb 1, 2020 at 7:00. This will be an "online" meeting using one of those "online meeting tools". You will need a laptop, phone, or PC with a headset (if a PC, Laptop, or tablet device) so that you can participate in the meeting. I will send out a link so you can get into the discussion. This will be a live on-line discussion where we can go over items for the district in a 2-way conversation. I will either use Skype or GoTo Meeting.. These are both free but you may need to download software to your device. These online meeting tools allow your camera and microphone on your device to give you 2-way discussion capabilities. I would like all leagues to send at least 1 representative to the online meeting, and preferably the President, although the President can assign anyone from the Board in the event the President cannot make it. We have much to discuss. District Tournament During the on-line meeting next week we need to discuss the location and dates for the District Tournament. If your leagues as dropping in numbers of registrations, I'd suggest making better use of the All-Star component of your schedules and participating in the District Tournament. One of the best things about Little League is the Post-Season play! State 12/Majors tournament to be hosted by District 13 This year we are hosting the STATE Majors/12 year old tournament in District 13. We have much to discuss about that. This would be a great year to kick-of your District tournament All-Stars because they wouldn't have to travel to go to State! Recently I have received a couple of inquiries from leagues to contact other leagues in the District about Inter-League waivers and play! You can contact ALL the leagues in the District and ask them your question or request some games on the schedule with them by using this forum! Just send an email to the address above and they will get the message! Also if you have Little League questions, pop the question in an email and send it to the Forum and everyone can chime in!
