Hi All, Just a peek into what's coming in 2024! New Fiber We have started taking new signups for fiber in the "Grantham" area in Clarkston. We already have several folks that are joining the Rodeo crew by getting our new fiber as soon as it is available in Clarkston. should be right around April 1! For those of you that are Rodeo Customers already, you can get blazing fast fiber in certain areas for the same price as our wireless options, only fast and more of everything! Just give us a call for details! Upgrading the Wireless Network! In 2024 we will be upgrading our wireless network. you will have the opportunity to get faster speeds on the wireless network - some as much as 150mbps! We'll keep you posted as that happens. It will require new radios at your home, and we have to upgrade the towers - which we will do in sections, to deliver more bandwidth on our wireless platform. In some RARE cases, some users in the right place will get more than 150Mbps! New internet feeds! We are upgrading our primary feed to our system in the LC Valley. this means that there will be more of everything - we are adding almost 10x the capacity! This means the primary backbones to the internet are undergoing these upgrades. it means better streaming, faster response from certain websites, and better performance overall.. This should become available in February. SMALL Price increases! Unfortunately, Washinton State has raised it's minimum wage (again). and for the first time in 4-5 years, Rodeo MUST increase it's prices. While we have not changed them in a long-long time we have to now. The new rates are: 1. (Spur 1) Basic Internet now $49 2. (Spur 2) Intermediate Internet now $82 3. (Spur 3) High End Internet $115 4. Installation $75 5. Customer Radio - $11.25 per month (Rent) 6. Customer Radio - $145 (purchase) We don't like raising rates and we know you don't like to see it happen either, but we have to because of the economy, cost of labor increases, and cost of materials increases.Even though costs have gone up more than 20% in the last 4-5 years, we have increased our costs in most cases less than 10%. If you are under a current contract, your rates will stay the same as is written in your agreement. (Some may not experience a rate increase for up to 12 months). Network Uptime! All, we are proud to report that the network has been available more than 99.99% over the last 30 days! We did experience an extended power outage on one node affecting less than 5% of the network, but the outage was less than a couple hours. It was due to a power failure by the electrical provider (Avista). Once they fixed their part of the electrical grid, we were right back at it. This uptime is the result of technicians and office folks who really do care about our customers and their desire to provide you with a great Rodeo Experience. Don't forget TV an Telephone! Most folks don't realize Rodeo can also provide you with great TV and telephone services along with your internet.
