A number of WA State DA's are not receiving the emails from Dan Velte. I have confirmed this with a few of you this evening. So, for the time being, ANY time I receive an email from Dan Velte, I will be forwarding to the WA DA's DL. Would you rather get it twice, or not at all? Just asking. --Brian From: Dan Velte, Vice President, Operations <llinternational@littleleague.org> Sent: Wednesday, October 22, 2025 3:01 PM To: brianmarantz@hotmail.com Subject: Start Your Engines: 2026 Congress Information [Little League International Congress 2026] Dear BRIAN, It's hard to believe that we're already less than four months away from gathering in Indianapolis for our 29th Little League(r) International Congress<http://click.email.littleleague.org/?qs=61ae576a8aa967fe2dc324f22d12cde88e1f6784b840769618d5b2768eaab8a3da579241acb9fb34575d1d92ae84cf24b3e2ecd7a3714e60>, with registration and the exhibit hall opening on Thursday, February 5, and Congress programming running from the night of Friday, February 6, through Monday, February 9. What's New? * To support our event this year, Little League International is working with a group named metroConnections for some of our logistical planning, including registration. In early November, we will open registration, where every attendee will register individually using the email address that they access the Data Center with. This will be a separate registration platform. * Instead of booking travel through AAA, as we have done in the past, all attendees are free to book their travel through your preferred method. For those flying, please use Indianapolis International Airport (airport code: IND). What's the Cost? * Registration is $50. All D.A.s and A.D.A.s who register will receive tickets to all special events, as well as any welcome gifts. You will be able to add guests to your registration for anyone traveling with you that would want to attend the special events. How Are We Supporting District Administrators? * All District Administrators or approved alternates will receive: * A daily $50 per diem for four days (total of $200). * $500 in travel reimbursement. For this year's Congress, Little League is using the average flight costs per region to factor travel reimbursement to help offset the cost of travel for D.A.s and approved alternates. * Four nights of hotel accommodations will be directly billed to Little League International. All attendees will be responsible for all incidental costs. * All West Region D.A.s or approved alternates will be mailed a check in early January for a total reimbursement of $700. What Will the Format Be? * Similar to when we gathered in Williamsport in 2022, the 2026 Little League International Congress will feature robust conversation, centered around our strategic initiatives, and collaboration with our volunteers from around the world. Our team is currently working on an active schedule of events that will include an Opening Celebration, educational panels and sessions, volunteer recognition and celebration, and a motivational closing session. Additionally, similar to Williamsport, there will be no formal voting process at Congress. More information and a detailed schedule of events will be shared with you all in the exciting leadup to Congress. If you cannot attend and would like to designate an alternate representative for your District, please email Corey Wright (CWright@LittleLeague.org<mailto:CWright@LittleLeague.org>). We will be reaching out shortly with our agenda survey, as well. As always, thank you for your continued commitment to Little League International, and we're looking forward to a transformational event in Indianapolis. If I can help or provide any assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out. ________________________________ Dan Velte Vice President, Operations Little League International [Little League Logo] [Little League]<http://click.email.littleleague.org/?qs=61ae576a8aa967fe012b5e7a4869e0aac88cb8ae74b5fff4781b5a169fcdb04233d4ccc15fcb4862ef710560858e1a7f7c8e6166536da10d> [Facebook]<http://click.email.littleleague.org/?qs=61ae576a8aa967feb591923b1b1adc5e7fa66826281b58f4697804c1a0e7c9a897ccd388fc7e923fa9f245bdbe2ef2c35d3856a804e73b75> [Twitter] <http://click.email.littleleague.org/?qs=61ae576a8aa967fe33db20d4bf37d3fa9fcdf75ecc1f48e0b48e04d85e8ddd10bf1285a8bd03c62ff3040b62958345517b66116c1ebe7358> [Instagram] <http://click.email.littleleague.org/?qs=61ae576a8aa967feab735c0b2c6fbab409145ce19d2be2036373d463c6d627d3836ed8e7df1e43ffb86ca453f231a21266b8f086ca4bb723> [Youtube] <http://click.email.littleleague.org/?qs=61ae576a8aa967fe1ab9dc538d58cb8ad2227b716278c2a61e67f29eaaf2ec7998d1ff7938f0a1f32cd8c0369fb841070e1bc3ba025c51f8> [TikTok] <http://click.email.littleleague.org/?qs=61ae576a8aa967fe3e488e1c40ab2429a279ae552391a6bb02781a030ccd03a71c7ba9d18e0a778cb93fe5cdb4f24f2f4b4d4b689b6f4918> This email was sent by: Little League International 539 US Highway 15 S.
