All, Othello has reached out for help with umpires. Normally I wouldn't write an email like this, because it's not your problem. however, I am looking for ideas on how to help them. The story is this: Othello had been a city league for the last few years (like 10 or 20) - 4 years ago, just before COVID, they were one of the people I contacted that I got to sign up for Little League. Then their director got let go. then they hired another one, then Covid hit and that director went by the wayside, now they have one that took over and they re-activated their Little League program (March I think). Now they don't have umpires. We have a ton of kids signed up and for the first time in 10+ years there is a league from Othello coming to Districts. Now they need umps. Anybody got any ideas?
