All, I am adjusting the mailing list "WADAS" still - it is ONE address we can send emails to with distribution to everyone. The correct address to send emails for the whole group to is: wadas@lists.rodeonetworks.com <mailto:wadas@lists.rodeonetworks.com> - (I have seen several of you sending messages to wadas@rodeonetworks.com <mailto:wadas@rodeonetworks.com> which is INCORRECT). YOU SHOULD GET THIS MESSAGE TWICE - PLEASE SEND A TEST MESSAGE WHEN YOU GET THIS FROM YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS to WADAS IF YOU ONLY GET THIS MESSAGE ONCE. I am sending this message two different ways. One from the email listserver which hosts WADAS and one by everyone's individual email address. GMAIL, OUTLOOK (which is connected to Hotmail, MSN, Live and other email services) have all implemented security measures in the last few months that make sending bulk email more difficult. Many of you are actually getting the mail (I can see it being delivered at the operating system level), BUT, it's getting sent to SPAM,TRASH, or JUNK folders for some of you. To allow these messages to get through on these services SOMETIMES you just have to go to your email management page and select the domain "rodeonetworks.com", or "lists.rodeonetworks.com" and allow the domain to send mail or put it as a "safe sender", or mark it as "not spam". In other cases, the messages are being rejected by your servers as SPAM and being sent back to me. I have to research each one, adjust the sending system, and try again until I nail down all the reasons that someone's email service might reject a message from our bulk list server. I WILL get them all nailed down. if you still don't get messages from the WADAS list (wadas@lists.rodeonetworks.com <mailto:wadas@lists.rodeonetworks.com> ) let me know. I'll be sending out test messages over the next few days so I can watch how various servers are responding with the new rules in place. I have confirmed that GMAIL and COMCAST ARE ACCEPTING MESSAGES (I have accounts on those systems I test with ). so those have been cleared. THEY DO however show up in "spam" or junk folders depending on user settings (which I cannot adjust, but YOU CAN) on individual email account settings. For the geeks among us I am adjusting the SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and whitelisting options at each domain. JP said gmail added a new filter in June. If you aren't getting the WADAS posts, check your spam folder and mark it as allowed. This will be easy since I sent an email on the WADAS list last night.
