Bob was a long time friend and great Little League supporter and always tried to get the Mariners to have more Little League events. I can remember way back when Bob got us the first Little League Day in the new stadium and he just expanded it from there. I have been given information that Bob Hellinger died over the weekend. Veteran D.A.s will remember we almost lost him about 7-10 years ago. He has been managing a chronic health issue ever since. We don’t know cause of death at this time, other than it was from natural causes.
Bob was our longtime Mariners representative and to many of us a good friend away from the Mariners.
