One of the many strengths of the Western Region is the powerful network of dedicated volunteers that serve for us. Our commitment to our volunteers is to provide the same level of excellent customer service to you that you provide to our many local leagues. Since April Meehleder left the organization, we have operated without a Managing Director in the West Region thanks to our strong staff led by Director Kit Golden and supported by Assistant Directors Andrew Cortez and Jake Gallaway. I am excited to announce today that our team will get even stronger as Corey Wright, East and Central Region Operations Managing Director will take on additional responsibilities within the Operations Department and will also serve as the Managing Director for the West Region.. Corey has a very successful history within the Little League organization and understands the importance of our volunteer leadership and that is why he will be perfect for this position. Corey will begin to attend some events in the West Region to support our staff and I look forward to all of you getting to work closely with Corey to continue to make the Little League program the best youth sports organization in the world.
