Last year I had several leagues tell parents they could use a screenshot of the county property assessor's website to satisfy the Group 2 requirement for those using the three proofs of residency. But LL's website states that a Group 2 document "must show customary usage or consumption to demonstrate...continuous habitation". (I have attached evidence of both). So my questions are: 1. Will you accept these screenshots for Group 2 when checking binders prior to your State Tourneys? 2. And if not, do I need to have leagues replace screenshots that were in last year's player packets? (I did ask Kit this question last year. She said that we 'may allow' them for Districts, but she'd prefer the traditional Group 2 documents for teams going to State.) Also, I am not a fan of the screenshots. -- Amy Dahlin District Administrator WA District 11 Little League
I wouldn't accept your screen shot. It doesn't give me enough information - such as date occupied. I do accept a printout from our assessor's office (not screenshot) which shows purchase date, occupancy, etc. That gives me the date (prior to Feb. 1) when the people purchased the house and shows it to be owner occupied. It is 2 or 3 pages long, and I believe it gives me enough information to meet the regulation requirements. To test your county's printout, log in to the assessor's office, pull up your own property and read what's there. All of that would print out if you hit print instead of taking a screenshot. As to whether you need to replace things accepted by a prior district administration, that's a West Region question. Hi, If I were to try to submit as a parent, or accept as a DA, a property tax statement, I would expect to see something like this image. * It contains my name, my address, and that I made a payment during the proper window of time (Feb 1 2025 to Feb 1 2026), which in this case, is 10/30/2025. I highlighted in yellow what I would need in order to accept this as a DA. [cid:image001.png@01DCF4F2.A99E5060] If I got this image, as DA, I would likely accept it. But without name, date and address, it would not suffice and I would NOT accept it. Yes, the family can cross out the account number and the amount. That is fine. --Brian From: Wadas <wadas-bounces@lists.rodeonetworks.com> On Behalf Of WA District 3 Little League via Wadas Sent: Friday, June 5, 2026 7:52 AM To: Washington DAs Discussion Forum <wadas@lists.rodeonetworks.com> Cc: WA District 3 Little League <wdist3ll@gmail.com> Subject: Re: [Wadas] Residency Group 2 Questions I wouldn't accept your screen shot. I would not accept a screenshot. I can't find any reference that a screenshot is acceptable.
