All, I need to know If any districts are running into problems with restarting their baseball and softball programs. This would include schools or parks departments that will not allow play, leagues not playing, and other factors. I need this information by tomorrow early afternoon for a meeting. Thanks, Mike

Hi Mike, The only league that I am aware of in District 1 is Stanwood Camano, the school district has not opened up fields for outside groups to use. High School fields in some of our school districts are on hold until the High School schedules are out and if they will be having Jr. Varsity teams. In District 6 Entities that are problems for leagues to hold practices or games are; Vancouver School District - practice fieldsEvergreen School District - practice fieldsHockinson School District - practice fieldsLa Center School District - practice fieldsWoodland School District - practice fieldsCity of Battle Ground - game fields (city not responding to league contact attempts)City of Woodland - practice fields 9 of 10 leagues have the okay to use normal game ball parks. (Includes county parks, city parks/fields, 1 church property & 1 Port Authority owned facility). And 1 city is not responding to a league who is seeking permission to use the ballpark. Most D6 leagues must use school practice fields to conduct preseason activities as there is not enoughfields available for all the teams in preseason/practice at game site facilities.
