Hi All, Here is the new template/info for the ASAP plan, now called "Safe Play"... Please keep in mind the need to get this done before March 31. Additionally: We have some new "Safe Play" information. The process is super easy. Attached the 2025 West ASAP plan for your league to use as a reference. Also attached is a "Safe Summary" example that each league will receive once they complete the required information in the Data Center. Here is a list of the required items: (Use the attached 2025 ASAP manual to answer most of the requirements) BEFORE THE LEAGUE STARTS: Make sure the Board is updated, and the Facility Survey is reviewed and updated. 1. Safe Summary Cover Letter (LL offers a standard letter for leagues, feel free to make it your own, add your league logo) 2. League Officers & Contacts (make sure the data center is current with your league officers) 3. Child Protection 4. Emergency Planning 5. First Aid Preparedness 6. Equipment Safety 7. Field & Facility Safety 8. Concession Stand Safety 9. Training & Education 10. Accident Reporting 11. Rules & Best Practices 12. Sign & Distribute After completing the necessary steps, you will receive the league's "SAFE SUMMARY DOCUMENT," which should be distributed to managers and posted on the league's website. AIG District Incentive: One of the best things is that district can earn up to $800 now. Awards are as follows. * $200 for 90-100% by May 1 * $300 for 100% leagues completing required background check and abuse awareness training * $300 for strong district-wide participation in the LL training coursed, including safety awareness, first aid awareness, diamond leader, and other role-based training. (not sure what "Strong" means to LL but I have asked) * League Incentive: The annual AIG Insurance credit, equal to 15% of the accident insurance premium purchased thought the AIG Accident Insurance Pogram. League becomes eligible to receive a SAFE to Play grant application.
