[Littleleagueparents] Up Coming region wide Little League Meeting

Hi All Spokane Area Little League Parents! Each year Washington Little League District 13 (Spokane and Eastern Washington area) has a "Winter Meeting" where board members and presidents of leagues from all over the District meet to discuss and plan for the next years' season. That meeting is coming up at the end of October and we are doing something as a District we have never done before in preparing for this meeting: We are asking for YOUR input! (And yes we are serious about hearing from you). Our goal with this planning meeting is to try and figure out each year how to create the best playing experience for the player, support families, build up communities, and play some great baseball. At this planning meeting each year we discuss Little League rule changes, playing opportunities, registrations, and problems and solutions each league in our District faces. But in the process for preparing for this meeting, we thought "What do parents and players really need, want, and what can we do to improve Little League experience from THEIR perspective?" So take a minute if you would and reach out to the District office - the contact info is below. You can call, email, or even drop on our website and talk a bit with us. If we don't respond to the online chat right away, just leave your questions and comments in the chat... we'll take a look. Email and phone calls work too. And at the District level, we are always looking for volunteers to join us in being part of the "District Staff" that works with the leagues to help make Little League better. If you are interested in this, please contact us at the numbers below. Our District is huge - running from Moses Lake to Canada to St. John, to the Idaho border... and we have lots of leagues, teams, and players that need guidance. Your help would be appreciated! We are approaching over 4000 players in our area, and we are growing! So let us know your thoughts, we really would like to hear from you!
