And for those that don't know, its always hotter on turf than it is on grass, dirt, and even the asphalt. * We had a pitchers' duel between D5 Othello and D12 Richland National, with Othello coming out on top 1-0 with a single run scored in the bottom of the 5th * We had an amazing comeback (or a meltdown depending upon your point of view), with D9 Issaquah down 10-2 to D6 Hazel Dell the start of the 5th inning, and wound up winning with a walk-off sacrifice fly 11-10 in the bottom of the 6th * Two teams left in the 'winners' side of the bracket. We have an 8 foot wide banner bracket, and after every team win, the winning teams gets to "MOVE" their team along to the next column in the bracket. It is quite the spectacle and the families and teams all gather around for the celebration.
