Agree with Glen. Beyond sex offenders or crimes against children, it's up to the League Board's to decide if they'll let people volunteer or not. As a president, anyone with active 'cases' was not allowed to volunteer, but beyond that, we'd either approve them, or put them on 'probation' and approve them as an assistant coach... Does anyone have advice for setting requirements of what passes or fails a background check when the items in the background check are not crimes against children? I can't find anything definitive or even guidance with LL. What I hear is each league can set what is acceptable and not acceptable.
