Abbey, That is exactly why I brought it up both here and with them directly. By the letter of the rules they are correct in that their regular season is comprised of the same teams that are in the “tournament”. So they feel that their winnowing down at the teams at the end of the season is just the culmination of the season. Now pay no attention to the fact that the teams participating in this year end winnowing have to pay a new fee. This still smells like a tournament to me. So I still don’t know what, if any, arrangements that they have made with the State to get a ruling in their favor. As I understand things most travel teams travel and play in tournaments. So by not calling it a tournament they are circumventing the restrictions put in place.
