Lets try this again… Senior Softball. Which Districts are planning to have a team for All Star Tournament season? We have NO District host for this at the present time and we need to get some clarity on this. Districts that we know will have a team: * District 2 – North Kitsap LL * District 8 – RUG LL I keep hearing rumors that D1, D6, D9, D11 may have a team * If there is only 1 team, they get a bye straight to Regionals in Montana. * If there are two team, such as D2 and D8, the proposed plan is to have a HOME and HOME set of games to determine a State Champion, but I cannot seem to get Pat Ryan to reply to any of my emails, VM’s or txt’s to confirm from D2. * If there are 3 or more Districts, then we probably need to find a HOST District. The sooner we figure this out, the better. I have families that are asking about a schedule. We are about to go into May with no clarity and I really don’t want to be trying to figure this out at the last minute. The Regional Tournament starts on Thursday July 17. That means having a State Tournament that wraps up the previous weekend (July 12-13) won’t logistically work to deal with info needed for Regional and logistics of getting the team to Montana. That puts us back to the July 4th holiday weekend (Fri 7/4, Sat 7/5, Sun 7/6). And I already know that having this State Tournament the weekend of June 27-29 won’t work due to player availability.
