Washington State District Administrators Re: 2024 Washington State 8-10 Baseball Tournament Ladies & Gentlemen: District 2 is hosting the Washington State 8-10 Baseball Tournament in Poulsbo at North Kitsap Little League July 20th through July 27th. I have enclosed a copy of the game schedule for your convenience. This is also available on our district website. Housing will not be provided by District 2 so your team members will need to procure their own housing. Hotels in the area are quite full this year. We are working on getting the local hotels to block out rooms or provide a discounted rate. Teams should ask for the Little League rate. We will send out an update when we know which hotels we were able obtain additional support from. I ask for your help in getting the team packet to the winning team promptly and please be sure that the manager understands all of the information in the packet. We are hoping to produce a tournament program and need your help to get your team included. We need your winning team roster and high resolution team photo no later than July 13th earlier will be greatly appreciated. If we don’t get all of the team’s information we won’t be able to print a program. Please send the photos directly to me via email. The printed information may be sent either via email or fax. Be sure to include the District #, League Name, League President, Manager, Coach(es), and Players. Please have your team check the District 2 website for the most current information as the activities timeline may change. I will also send you any updates prior to July 16th so, if you desire, you can update the package you hand to your team. But please have your team rely on the District 2 website for the latest information. All of the information in the attached zip file is available on the District 2 website. Greetings From the Land of Perpetual Sunshine! District 12, with the gracious help of Greater Richland Little League, is hosting the 2024 Washington State 9-11 Baseball Tournament in West Richland, WA at the Bombing Range Sports Complex, July 20th through July 28th. Enclosed should be everything that you and your winning manager and team parents should need, prior to the managers' meeting on July 19th. You might notice that my version of the packet is a couple pages shorter than others, but that's because I have determined that it's best not to give out too much important information all at once, or else inevitably some details will be "glossed over" and/or not retained, I hate when that happens! All of the official Game Day procedures and important tournament rules information will be printed out and given to your manager at the managers' meeting, where we will go over those details together in person. Please make sure your winning manager receives this packet promptly and be sure that the manager understands all of the information herein, especially with regards to sending me their personal contact information, team roster, and team photo for the program! Like most other state tournament hosts, we are hoping to produce a nice commemorative program for purchase, but we need your help to get your team included!
