Jace Grende (UPDATE) June 4th

All, For those of you interested, Jace apparently did better over the weekend. This will be my last posting to this group as you can follow the story on Facebook if you wish to keep up with it… Thanks so much for your support… It’s yet another picture of how big the Little League Family is… JP 6/4/22 The neuro team stopped by this morning to let us know the MRI looked good post surgery. He does have residual tumor markers present that will have to be dealt with. He was down graded to acute care status. He is moving to Children’s Hospital today after 1:00! He still isn’t moving his right side by himself or talking, but he does respond to pain on his right side. He is still very sleepy but woke up enough to SIT ON THE EDGE OF THE BED!!!!!!!! We were so so so happy to see that! He did a great job! It was only for a minute or so but he did good maintaining his head control and using his core strength. Keep the prayers coming!!!

Today’s update on Jace Grende, Thanks to all for your prayers… We also obtained Abby Grende (mom) Venmo for those of you that would like to contribute to their (crushing) expenses… To remind those of you that haven’t heard, Jace is a coach pitch player out of Touchet Valley Little League (Dayton / Waitsburg) that just a few days ago discovered he had a brain tumor(s) and was rushed to the hospital after having seizures … the information about all this started about a week ago.. we encourage you to let your league and parent’s know… and yes we all have tough things we go through… in this case I thought it appropriate to share with the Little League family… your prayers are earnestly appreciated and if you want to help financially it is also much needed. Time for Help....

All, Today I was made aware of Jace Grende a coach pitch player in Touchet Valley Little League in Dayton/Waitsburg. It was discovered this week that he has a brain tumor that is serious. His family would appreciate your prayers, and we are undertaking a fund raising effort to help them get some of their medical costs covered. I would appreciate it if you all would consider sending them a check in any amount to help offset medical costs. and keep their family and Jace in your fervent prayers. He is undergoing surgery this week. The have removed part of his skull to relieve pressure from the tumor. and there is more to go. I don't normally do things like this as we all have things in life that are tough. but in this case, I think it is appropriate, and if there is anything you, your leagues, or your parents and families can do to help, it would be appreciated.
